A four-car BRC&W DMU departing from Hull Paragon. With one of the visible vehicles in blue this is likely late 1960s. DMCL E50580 is closest, it was a Hull vehicle from new until 1975, after which it moved to Neville Hill where it remained until withdrawal in 1981. Graham Clark.
A four-car Class 104 DMU decorated for some school specials / publicise the Scarborough line. The style was from the Ken Dodd show - he was in Scarborough for the season and made an appearance on the trains. Taken in Hull Paragon in June 1970. Note the frame fitted the lamp brackets, and the marker lamps seem to be be missing the glass (or are very clean!). Allan Dawson.

E51955, Hull Paragon, 29 August 79. The third vehicle appears to have a yellow end and be in refurbished livery - and so not a Swindon vehicle, this could be two Trans-Pennine vehicles attached to another set. Syd Young.

The driver of a Scarborough bound local service gives me a friendly wave as the unit leaves Hull Paragon. Always thought the MetCamms looked quite smart in the refurbished livery especially with the polished window surrounds and while they still provided first class accommodation. 3rd July 1981.
